We believe that in a global economy the way each of us chooses to spend our money is at least as powerful as the way we choose to vote.
The products each of us buys, and the companies we choose to support, have a direct impact on the health of the planet and the quality of life of our fellow humans.
We believe that shopping should be a pleasure, exemplary customer service should be the norm, and that beautiful, high quality goods and gifts need not be expensive.
You can afford to grace your home and treat your body with products that are hand crafted, healthy, and ethically produced.
Come visit.
We'll prove it to you.

Greater Goods is the labor of love of first cousins, Ayala Sherbow and Michal Rowse.
|
|
Ayala lives in Lovettsville with her husband and four children. She is the owner and "Chief Visionary" for Greater Goods. In her own words:
"My vision for the 'Fair Trade' mission of Greater Goods grew naturally out of my work (years ago) with the Microcredit Summit. The idea that poor women around the world already had the skills they needed to lift their families out of poverty was an electric one. Once I had children, my concern for their health, and the health of the world they grow up in, woke my passion for environmentalism."

Michal is an artist with a background in retail design and merchandising. Her expertise and talent contribute to Greater Goods' success as a delightful environment in which to shop, create and learn.
